John Bock, Pfundstück, 29 July 2010, 7 p.m., performance, NUMBER THREE: HERE AND NOW, JULIA STOSCHEK COLLECTION, Duesseldorf

Having lost its original habitat, the beingpresentegg descends into the frosty environment of the microscopic view, while the macroscopic view ascends from the frivolous environment and the two finally fuse into a higher universe. As the solid and the hollow Siamese twin docks on, the theory of creation is transmitted to the physical being that was found on the field in Gribbohm and dissected by John Bock, who excised the revolting something from it. The hollow conflagration in the physical being takes place at minus 20°, so that no life impulse is lost – for there is no zero option underlying the genesis. Every theory claims its victims.
